me and my story
My thing is a CRM solution for non-profits
My CRM will help NPO's, community and volunteer organizations in daily struggle with the operational side of their service to make it more rewarding.
The nature of my goal
I have been a Treasurer for Wellington South Parents Centre for two years.
WSPC is a volunteer-run organization where a Committee is responsible for resolving daily operational issues to successfully provide the service to the community.
Help is often lacking and workload is often overwhelming. This makes it difficult not only to find volunteers willing to commit to the cause, but to keep them further.
I've talked to representatives of other volunteer-run organizations and understand that they often face the same issues - ineffective processes, too much dependency on key people, breakdown of communications, absence of help from the "head office" where it concerns the operational matters.
For example, having to upload hundreds of PDF invoices generated in one application to a website, so they can be delivered to your members can hardly be considered optimal. In my opinion a CRM solution to simplify similar routine tasks that constitute everyday operational side of delivering a service is required.
I envision a product that encompasses features from membership and renewals tracking, invoices and online shops, to grants and donations, events, newsletters, RSS and Social Networks integration allowing organization to communicate with their audience more efficiently and ultimately more effectively. I want to make it affordable and ready out-of-the-box, delivered as a service so the organizations can try it easily and assess the potential benefits.
I simply want to make it more rewarding to be a volunteer.
